He looks up and wakes up the rest of the way, stretching.

Well, I’m not planning’ ta be here long myself if I can help it. I was told if I went pokin' around Mr. Asp might come find me, but it really didn’t sound like there was a lot I’d want ta see here, considerin’ the state of things, so…

Ya think there’s any chance I’ll be able ta cross paths with him?

I was given a flower that I dunno how ta use. I was told whatever it's put in has ta be made fresh so it's only available ta have at the place it's from, but is it good for a day or two after it's picked, or is it gone if ya don't use it right after it's picked? Some teas are like that too, right?

Oh, then the one I've got might still be good. I'm from way way way outta town, and the window on this flower sounds pretty short, so this is probably the only chance I'll have ta pass it along ta someone who can use it.
