In fact these new children are NOT random. But it's okay, they're well-fed. It's baby Firuz and Azir running around playing tag in the garden! They're about five, dressed in identical cute outfits, and they're full of energy.

There seem to be no adults in the immediate vicinity. Little creatures made out of leaves and sticks and flowers scurry around in the plants, tending to them, but that seems to be all the supervision they have right now.

While he went on his adult hunt they scooped some berries from a nearby plant and both jump guiltily when he approaches, but then rally to look cute.

While I'm sure this is a safe area, you shouldn't be running around without your parents.

One twin starts to hold the berries out, but the other immediately shoves his in his mouth. ... So the first twin puts one berry in Eugene's hand like he was asking to try one and then eats his.

[reaches out to grab his wrist before he can put the rest of the berries in his mouth and gives his best "dad is disappointed in you" frown to both of them]

What part of "wash them" didn't get into your ears, hmm?

The twin he grabbed gives him some DEVASTATING puppy eyes.

They're not. I see a fleck of dirt on that berry right there.

[points to one berry. there is maybe a small bit of dust on it cuz its just in a greenhouse]

"A little bit of dirt is good for you."

That's not true when you're eating it.

"Dirt's good," says one twin.

"Nutrients," agrees the second twin.

[they're lucky they're incredibly cute. lets go of the twins wrist so he can have all his berries except the one Eugene is keeping. he needs to hold onto it in case someone asks what these kids ate.]

It looks and smells exactly like a strawberry. The free twin nomnoms his berries.

Soil has nutrients that help plants grow. You need different kinds of nutrients than a plant does.

Oh, that is good.

It's one of the best berries you have ever personally eaten. Incredibly ripe and juicy and delicious and sweet. The texture is perfect too.

"Only stuff you can eat grows here!"

Did your parents say it was okay to eat the things that grow in here? It might be for other people, you know.

"We're little so even if we eat all the fruit we want there's still enough for the other people."
